Performing Arts

Our Performing Arts program offers girls exhilarating experiences both on and off the stage that helps develop their performance and expression skills and their ability to confidently perform in front of audiences. Watch Ishara as she takes her passion for performance from rehearsal to the big stage as Rafiki in the Year 6 production of Lion King Jr.

House Sports Day

Our House System is an integral part of school life. The diversity of activities provides many opportunities for girls to participate whilst special events such as House Sports Day offer girls the opportunity to compete, have fun and forge strong friendships and lasting memories.

The Boarding Experience

Some things at school just can’t be taught; the lifelong friendships, the discoveries that excite and the moments that matter. At PLC, Boarding is more than just a place to live and walk to school. It’s a holistic experience that immerses students into a warm, inclusive home away from home. Sports

At PLC, girls can participate in a wide range of sports and engage in extensive competitive and non-competitive sports event, covering core curriculum and elective specialist pursuits. Watch our Rowing Squad as they have fun preparing for the Head of School Girls Rowing Regatta.

Sally Capp | Lord Mayor of Melbourne

As one of Australia’s leading schools for girls, PLC has an proud history of developing women as leaders in their professions. PLC Old Collegian Sally Capp recently visited her old school to reflect on an education that inspired and prepared her for life's many and varied opportunities. In 2018, Sally became the first directly-elected female Lord Mayor of Melbourne.
